The New York Times...

Cool.

That, and our National Pie Day Celebration went off swimmingly - food, music, drinks and plenty of good times.

Stay tuned for more pie news.

Eat Local Week

A series of events July 4-11 to celebrate independent, locally-owned neighborhood businesses we love to eat, drink and shop at as well as our local farmers and food producers who are helping to maintain a vibrant local food system. Folks are invited to bike, walk or take TriMet to eat at their favorite locally-owned neighborhood restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and to buy a portion of their groceries from neighborhood food co-ops, grocery stores and farmers markets.

Eat Local Week is a project of the Sustainable Business Network of Portland, the only alliance of locally owned, independent businesses dedicated to fostering a truly sustainable local economy.
